Anna Weaver

Anna E. Weaver, 91, a resident of Orrstown Personal Care Home formerly of Cumberland Highway, Orrstown, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 in the home.
Born November 24, 1918 in the Newville area; she was a daughter of the late William B. and Rena Blanche Barrick Chestnut.
She was a member of the Upper Strasburg Church of God and a former member of Orrstown United Brethren Church and their Friendly Helpers Sunday School Class. Anna retired from the Nettie Frock Company in Shippensburg after 20 years of employment and was a member of the Upper Strasburg Senior Citizens Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Samuel Weaver who died July 28, 1988, two brothers and two sisters are also deceased.
She is survived by two daughters; Mary McClure and her husband David of Chambersburg, and Janet Zeger and her husband David of Ft. Loudon, three grandchildren; Kenneth Daniel McMullen, Sr. and his wife Sandy, Dawn Johnson and her husband Anthony, and Teresa Leedy and her companion Darin Feldman, five great grandchildren; Shelby Leedy, Aaron Johnson, Kassandra McMullen, Kolbie McMullen, and Kenneth Daniel McMullen, Jr., and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in the Upper Strasburg Church of God at 11 a.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Keith R. Bell. Burial will be in Pleasant Hall Cemetery. A viewing will held Wednesday from 9-11 a.m. in the church.
