Anna K. Shaver, 80, of Shippensburg, departed this life on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born on Saturday, April 3, 1943, a daughter of the late Harold and Charlotte (Musser) Lindsey.
Anna spent the majority of her life working as a baker for the Martin’s Potato Rolls Company. She loved to go camping with her family and enjoyed spending time at home watching reruns of her favorite mystery and game shows. Anna was a fan of Elvis and collected memorabilia over the years. She always enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by one son, David Shaver of Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren, Jessica Shaver of Mechanicsburg, Travis Fry and wife Kristi of Shippensburg, Andrew Fry and wife Crystal Alexander of Shippensburg; six sisters, Edna Mae Kerns of Harrisburg, Blanche Boggs of Florida, Lettie Baumgardner of Florida, Elsie Ott of Walnut Bottom, Karen Miller of Shippensburg, Laurel Laughman of Shippensburg; one brother, Reginald Lindsey of Shippensburg; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Shaver; two children, Sherry A. Decker and Scott E. Shaver; three sisters, Mary, Geniva, and Sally; three brothers, Harold “Pip” Lindsey, Jr., Charles “Pete” Lindsey, and Johnny; and one great-granddaughter, Jade E. Fry.
Anna’s funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor David A. Erisman officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
