Anna Lee Norcross, 86, of Shippensburg, went to be with the Lord on the morning of Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle.
She was born on November 15, 1926, in Marion, PA, a daughter of the late Daniel Albert and Marion Arietta Kitzmiller Orris.
Anna Lee was employed at the Shippensburg Area School District, from 1944 until her retirement in 1985, as the secretary to several superintendents.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Shippensburg, the Ft. Morris Chapter A.A.R.P. #2525, the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees, and the Cumberland County Chapter of P.A.S.R. Anna Lee enjoyed playing card games and loved spending time with her family.
Anna Lee is survived by her three sisters, Marion McMullen of Newburg, Janet McBeth of Walnut Bottom, and Doris (Frank) Feather of Hanover; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, O. Eugene “Gene” Norcross, who died on December 15, 2001.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, November 24, 2012, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg. The Rev. Paul K. Hauk and Rev. Andrew Bradley will officiate. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Saturday, at the funeral home.
