Anita Marshlick

Anita Louise Marshlick, 64, of Newville, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 in her home.
Born May 3, 1947 in Leesburg, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Ross and Thelma Eckenrode Keys.
Anita worked at Maslands in Carlisle for over 20 years, managed numerous local motels and most recently worked for Skills of PA. She was a member of the Durff-Kuhn VFW Post # 6168 in Shippensburg, attended Shippensburg Schools and was a graduate of Big Spring High School. Most of all Anita enjoyed her family and friends and helping others.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Thomas A. Marshlick, three daughters, Melisa R. Foster and her husband Dan of Carlisle, Heidi L. Anastasia of Jacksonville, NC, and Faustina R. Zacherl and her fiancée Kelby Faircloth of Sneadsferry, NC, two stepsons, Chris A. Marshlick and his wife Michelle of Craley, and Todd A. Marshlick and his wife Rhonda of York, five grandchildren, Zackary Orner and his wife Jennifer, Miranda Anastasia, Tyler Anastasia, Brock Bull, Jr., and Haley Marshlick, and Anita’s best friend, Audrey Beidel of Newville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Nichlaus Orner.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2011 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 2 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Bruce Henneman. Burial will be privately held at a later date. The viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
