Amy A. Baum, 69, of Shippensburg, died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at home.
She was born November 14, 1945 in Lewistown. Amy was a daughter of the late Paul and Cleo Hosler Henry. A brother, Paul Henry is also deceased.
Amy was active with her church community. She enjoyed cooking and was an avid canner, receiving the first Martha Mohn Award at the Shippensburg Fair. Amy was a devoted grandmother, mother and close friend to her neighbors.
She was a 1963 graduate of Cedar Cliff High School and earned her Associates Degree in Business from HACC.
Amy is survived by her husband, Richard E. Baum, four daughters, Jennifer Hartung, Mary Baum, and Kathy (Gregory) Nezat all of Shippensburg, and Alicia (David) Boarts of Newburg, seven grandchildren, Alekhin, Gwendolyn, and Paul Hartung, Chloe Boarts, Alecia Pyne, Ashley Deilner, and Taylor Nezat, four sisters, Florence (Lynn) Fuller of Lebanon, Ruth (Michael) Carey of Lewisberry, Norma (Marlin) Stone of Dillsburg, and Doris Henry of New Cumberland.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg at 10 a.m. Officiating will be Miss Karen Cleveland and Mr. Albert Knaggs. Private burial will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
