Alice Noel

Alice J. Noel, 72, of Shippensburg, entered into eternal rest Sunday, May 27, 2012 in her home.Born April 29, 1940 in Chambersburg, Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late Chalmer E., Sr. and Edna L. Warren Helm.Alice retired from K-Mart in Chambersburg after over 30 years of service. In her free time Alice took pleasure in reading on her front porch in the spring air. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael R. Noel, Sr. who died November 7, 1987.She is survived by one daughter, Barbara A. Gamble of Shippensburg, two sons, Michael R. Noel, Jr. and his wife Debbie K. of Newville, and David W. Noel and his wife Michelle M. of Shippensburg, one brother, Chalmer E. Helm, Jr. and his wife Kay M. and their daughter Kayla of York Springs, six grandchildren, Stephanie Hurley, Justin Livick, David Noel, Amber Noel, Jack Dale, and Nathaniel Noel, five great grandchildren, Briana Hurley, Aaron Stiffler, Ethen Stiffler, Kaiser Potter, and Trenton DeWalt.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2012 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 10 a.m.with The Rev. John R. Horst officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
