Alice A. Davidson, 75, of Shippensburg, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born December 24, 1944 in Chambersburg, PA. Alice was a daughter of the late William and Ellen (Strittmatter) Ferry.
She retired from Snoke’s Excavating and Paving and prior to working there, she was a secretary at J.W. Kline Elementary School. Alice graduated from the former McSherrystown Catholic High School. She was an avid bowler and sports fan. She especially enjoyed watching baseball.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister.
Alice is survived by her husband, Harry J. Davidson, Jr.; three sons, James Anthony (Ann) Davidson of Oakville, Timothy Wayne (Catherine) Davidson and Patrick Levi (Denise) Davidson, all of Shippensburg; two brothers, Dave Ferry of Shippensburg and Steve Ferry of California; six grandchildren, Andrew and Amanda Glass, Russell and Ethan Davidson, and Jennifer and Taylor Davidson; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the discretion of the family.
