Albert G. Shore, 72, of Burnt Cabins, died Monday, December 27, 2010 in his home along with his long time companion, Dorothy A. Rife.
Born January 7, 1938 in Burnt Cabins, Fulton County; he was a son of the late Wilmer and Pauline Cutchall Shore.
He retired from Knouse Foods in Peach Glen and years ago worked for the Mercersburg Tannery and many of the orchards in the St. Thomas area.
He is survived by a cousin, David S. Shore of Shade Gap.
In addition to his parents and long time companion, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Shore.
Graveside services will be held Monday, January 3, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Fair Ridge Church Cemetery, 22776 Piper Lane, Shade Gap, PA 17255. There will be no viewing or visitation.
Arrangements are being handled by the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg.
