Adam Matthew Willis, 40, of Orrstown, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Carlisle Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.
Born Thursday, June 23, 1977 in Chambersburg, he was a son of Lloyd J. and Joanne O’Donnell Willis.
Adam was presently employed at Commercial Concept in McConnellsburg where he worked as a farmer. He was a member of the Minnequa Social Club, Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223, and the Durff-Kuhn VFW Post # 6168, all in Shippensburg. Adam was an avid gun and John Deere collector, he loved hunting, painting, raising animals, working on cars, and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Emma Lynn Willis, Chambersburg; one sister, Natalie Lynne (husband Mike) Shenk, Shippensburg; and one brother, Jason E. (wife Rachel) Willis, Philadelphia.
Preceding Adam in death was his paternal grandparents, Herman and Betty Willis, maternal grandparents, Mary O’Donnell and John R. Henderson, and one uncle, Donald G. Willis.
A celebration of Adam’s life will be held Friday, October 20, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Mongul United Brethren Church, 4162 Roxbury Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257 with Pastor Brent Liechty and Pastor Thomas Willis officiating. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shippensburg FFA, c/o Kelly Bier 317 North Morris Street, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
