Ada V. Russell, 56, of Shippensburg, died Monday, January 27, 2014 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born February 21, 1957 in Chambersburg, PA. Ada was a daughter of the late John and Beulah Hancock Shriner.
She used to work at Shippensburg University in the Cub Snack Bar and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Barry L. Russell, a son, Dennis L. Russell, a daughter, Loria A. Pennabaker and her husband Randy, three grandchildren, Laura, Joni, and Joseph Pennabaker, three brothers, Harvie, Richard, and Dennis Shriner, four sisters, Ellen Worthington, and Esta Shriner all of Shippensburg, Iva Shriner of Chambersburg, and Becky Miner of FL.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Billy Shriner.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 3, 2014 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg at 2 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Daniel E. Cluck. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held Monday one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 384 Floral Ave., Chambersburg, PA 17201.
