A. William “Bill” Minick, Jr.

William “Bill” Minick, Jr., 83, of Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the Wellspan York Hospital.

Born Friday, March 6, 1942 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Arthur William and Sarah Catherine Shuman Minick, Sr.

Bill was a United States Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. He retired in 2007 from the Shippensburg Lumber Yard, with 41 years of service.

He enjoyed the outdoors, bird watching, woodworking, traveling, and planning vacations. Bill loved watching his grandchildren’s sporting events and meeting his brothers for breakfast.

Bill is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rebecca Sue Yost Minick, whom he married February 17, 1968; two daughters, Jill R. (Brian) O’Donnell, Fannettsburg, and Brenda K. (Tracy) Wood, Chillicothe, OH; three grandchildren, Donovan E. O’Donnell, and Haley A. O’Donnell, both of Fannettsburg, and Amber R. Minick, Chillicothe, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. Funeral services and burial will be private.
