Obituary for Kenneth E. Ott Jr.

Kenneth  E.  Ott Jr.
Kenneth E. Ott, Jr., 37, of Shippensburg, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at his home.

Born Tuesday, November 11, 1980 in Chambersburg, he was a son of Kenneth E. Ott, Sr, Shippensburg, and Teresa F. (companion John Baker) Dunlap Ott, of Chambersburg.

Kenneth was a 1999 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School, and attended the Shippensburg University. He was a member of the Otterbein Church Ministries of Waynesboro.

Ken was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fan. He loved to cook, softball, and WWE Wrestling.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jenna-Leigh Beaton Ott, two step daughters, Emma and Abby Neil, all of Shippensburg, one sister, Nicole L. Baker, Chambersburg, maternal grandparents, John and Marinda Dunlap, Shippensburg, paternal grandmother, Gladys Ott, Shippensburg, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Benjamin Ott, and one brother, Travis W. Ott who passed away, October 20, 2017.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lurgan United Brethren Church, 7900 Roxbury Road, Lurgan, PA 17232 with the Rev. Stan V. McCammon officiating. Burial will be private. A visitation will be held Wednesday, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Orrstown Bank, 77 East King Street, Shippensburg, PA 17257 in c/o Teresa Ott for the Emma and Abby Neil Fund.
