Obituary for Diane L. Diehl (Rock)

Diane L. Diehl (Rock)
Diane Louise Rock Diehl, 75, of San Antonio, TX, formerly of Piper Road, Shippensburg, passed away at St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital, San Antonio, TX, on Sunday, October 29, 2017.

She was born January 21, 1942 in Shippensburg, PA. Diane was a daughter of the late Alfred C. and Helen Hancock Rock.

Diane absolutely loved her work, working as an LPN at numerous Family Practices and Personal Care Homes in the Shippensburg area. She was a 1959 graduate of the Shippensburg High School.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray E. Diehl who passed away April 30, 2015.

Diane is survived by a daughter, Lynn (her husband Brady) Hester of San Antonio, TX; two granddaughters, Nicole D.J. (her husband Jacob) Cortinas of San Antonio, TX and Kayla A. (her husband Joshua) Lynch of Raytown, MO; two brothers, Rodney (his wife Paula) Rock of Apache, AZ and Michael (his wife Joyce) McMullen of Shippensburg; and a sister-in-law, Judy (her husband Charlie) Culbertson of Shippensburg.
Diane also is survived by her four legged babies, Goldi and Bitsy

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Officiating will be The Rev. James O. Bolich. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
